Tactus Concept Keyboard Suggestions~!!!

Hello All,

I am rather pleased with my om3. I use it flawlessly with my Vista 64 Ultimate everyday.

I use a logitech di Novo edge for main keyboard.

Now, as per the thread title suggestions for the tactus keyboard I love the idea....of having a programmable touch screen for keyboard...just the thing is it needs to have a few features:

1- Bluetooth wifi this is a must...regardless of how much power is required of the led panels~!!!

2- touch cursor pad-like laptop mouse pads- this goes hand n hand with wifi keyboard.

3- touch sensitive slider for volume as well as any other thing keyboard programmable.

4- zoom in & out keyboard programmability

If the Tactus has these features in addition to what it already has it will be the best keyboard ever.

I hope this issue gets resolved soon. Unfortunately I am on a tight time schedule with this project, and this is a feature I would really like to implement.
I need the flexibility of having 3 screens, as I plan to remove the casing, and mount 4 into a custom built control surface, which has many other components.
If I get confirmation that the issue will be resolved, I will go ahead and order 4 in order to have a complete prototype.

Hi,

Can you access the OM3 device from Linux? I haven't tried yet, but maybe someone has. Is this the correct driver: http://www.prolific.com.tw/eng/downloads.asp?ID=31 But I read in another thread that it might not work. I don't know if it only applies to Windows or it is the case in general. On the page i linked it also states that the Linux driver only works in RedHat, but I don't know if they only officially support RedHat even if it works in other distributions as well.

I code C/C++ and other languages, and think that the OM3 is a great toy to play with. Soon I'll try to access it from Linux as well.

Cheers,

The plugins included in OMC is quite limited, and users without any
knowledge about programming have no choice but to look for plugins distributed
by programmers.

I actually hoped for a plugin download inside Art.Lebedev site, but currently
it's unsupported.

Although stabilizing of OMC is a priority, making and distributing plugins
would be great help to using & selling OM3.
